Tiebreakers for qualifying:
Balanced pairings (you'll be grouped with a variety of other players)
Tiebreakers for the cut to A Division or B Division finals:
Full game tiebreaker to get into finals for any players tied on match points at the end of qualifying.
Tiebreakers for seeding in either finals:
Ties broken using automatic tiebreaker (most 1st & 2nds) or if still tied then broken randomly with flip of a coin or rock-paper-scissors for choice of seed.
For A Division finals:
First choice of game or position goes to high seed.
Loser of previous game picks game or position after the first game in the match.
No repeat game choices within the match of two to three games.
Waiting for a game picked by another group is only allowed after the first game of the first round.
For B Division finals:
Games are assigned randomly among options not currently in use by A Division.
First round is two groups of 4 where the last place in each group is eliminated and finishes tied for 15th. First round uses "slaughter" pairings: 16th, 13th, 12th, 9th in one group and 15th, 14th, 11th, 10th in the other; playing in that order.
Second round is two groups of 3 where the last place in each group is eliminated and finishes tied for 13th. Second round uses "balanced" pairings so each group of 3 should include a little variety compared to the first round groups.
Third round is a 4 player game where finishing order determines 9th-12th place and prizes.
