Monthly weekend pinball tournament at My Parents' Basement!
It's the FOURTH Sunday (8/24) this month.
Entry fee: $5 plus dollars for games
Register from 11:30-11:55 am
First round starts at 12:00 pm noon
** Qualifying **
Pace Match Play
Everyone plays 6 rounds of group match play with one game per round.
Players are eliminated after round 7 if their match points fall short of the pace.
Pace increases by 7 points each round after round seven.
Qualifying continues until 4 or fewer players remain, then those 4 (or fewer) players play in the finals (qualifying match points do not carry over to finals)
Initial round 6 pace will be announced before round 1 based on the number of players (pace may range from 20 - 32 points)
10 - 16 players: 17 points
17 - 20: 18 pts
21 - 26: 19 pts
27 - 30: 20 pts
31 - 40: 21 pts
41 - 48: 22 pts

Group match play with 4 or less players
2 games per round; one round
4/2/1/0 scoring

For qualifying:
Balanced pairings (you'll be grouped with a variety of other players)
For finals:
Finals will be between 2 to 4 players depending on the results of the last qualifying pace cutoff.
Finalists will play 2 games of group match play.
4/2/1/0 scoring if it's a 4-player group
4/2/1 scoring if it's a 3-player group
1/0 scoring if it's just 2-players
Choice of game or position made in seed order for game 1. Same procedure for game 2.
If players are tied for 1st after the two games then those tied players will play a full tiebreaker game with choice of game or position made in seed order.
Game choices in finals must all be on different machines.
