Tournament Date: October 30, 2022
Register from 11:30-11:55 am.
First round starts at 12:00 pm noon.
$5 entry plus dollars for games.
We're trying a slightly different strikes format this month. Rather than our normal 0/1/2/3 progressive strikes, we'll do 0/1/1/2 fair strikes. For groups of three players the strikes will be 0/1/2. For two players it's 0/2 strikes.
Fair strikes knockout. Play in 3 or 4 player groups for between 0 and 2 strikes each round. Play until you've gotten 8 strikes (at least 4 rounds). You'll be paired with players with a similar record after the first round (Swiss pairings). Final standings determined by strikes and elimination order; no finals.
Tournament Director reserves the option to accelerate strikes or declare a sudden death final game due to time constraints once 4 or fewer players remain.
