Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: March 16, 2024
This is our traditional monthly pinball tournament that occurs every third Saturday at 5pm, dating back more than 10 years! The $5 entry fee is paid out to the players and the trophy and IFPA fees are covered by the operators. Anyone is welcome and first time tournament players can enter for free! Simply show up at Pizza West by 5pm and sign in with the person with the laptop. We will rotate through some of our favorite formats. Tournaments usually take 2-4 hours depending on how well you do. If there's a good turnout and you make it to the end, you might be there a bit late but you'll be having fun and you'll come home with $$! Everyone gets world rankings points.
Format: Match Play
Everyone will be placed into 4 player groups and assigned to a game using match play software. First place finishers receive 7 points, second place 5 points, third place 3 points and fourth place 1 point. We will play one game per round and we will fit in as many rounds as we can between 5 and 7:30pm.
After that, we will take the top 4 players to finals. Finals will be 3 games and will use 4-2-1-0 scoring. The top 3 seeds each get to pick a game.
For this format, we will payout the top 4, plus players who achieve their personal best finish will receive a ribbon.
