The 11th Annual Point Monsters MAIN TOURNAMENT is once again the oldest continuously held tournament in the state of Florida, and the premier event with the coolest trophies and toughest competitors.
28 hours of qualifying. No cards. Unlimited attempts.
Qualifying play on 15 tournament machines to determine 16 players that will advance into an A-Divison Group Elimination finals rounds, with next 8 qualifiers to play a B-Division finals with the same format.
Best 7 machines count towards total composite score. You must have machines from all three eras: i.e. Two (2) Early (EM), Two (2) Mid (solid state), and Two (2) Late (DMD/Video)-- plus 1 additional from any era, i.e. the player’s choice.
The MAIN Tournament Final Round:
Player's Ranking Effect: Your Qualifying ranking will determine seeding order. The player's original ranking from the qualifying results will be used in the final rounds to determine game or position.
The top seeded player within your grouping will be able to choose between their choice of machine or order of play for each match of finals. The player picking cannot select the same machine twice throughout all finals rounds.
The Main Tournament Final Round Point Scoring System: The Main Tournament's Final Rounds will PAPA’s 4, 2, 1, 0 scoring

Main Tournament Final Round Format:
The top 16 ranked players will advance to an A-Division final group elimination bracket rounds. The group elimination bracket rounds will be a tiered four player grouping.
Players 17-24 will play the same finals format as B-Division, with no byes.
The Main Tournament Final Round Play: The 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th ranked players will receive double “Bye” placing them in the semi-final round. The 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th players will receive a single “Bye” placing them in the 2nd round. The 9th through 16th players receive no “Bye” will start in the 1st round.
The players ranked 9th through 16th will start the 1st round after being divided into 2 groups of 4 players as shown below. The group that contains the highest-seeded player gets first choice of machine or order of play. Each group will play three (3) separate four-player games, each on a different tournament designated machine which will be considered a complete round. A total of 4 players will advance to the next round with only 2 players from each group. The 4 players that can accumulate the highest points total on all machines for that round will advance to the 2nd round being joined by the 5th thru 8th seeded players.
