Emerald City Champ 2024, MULTIDAY QUALIFIERS, TOP 32 Sunday finals, 250% IFPA VALUE minimum*!

Welcome Back to Emerald City Cup, for our 8th edition, similar format to our new format in 2023. 1st place received 105 WPPR points for in 2023.

We are glad to announce that we are back at THE ICE BOX for 2024. They are sponsoring the IFPA leaving 100% of the registration fees to be paid out to players.

We will now have one final, with 32 players (with 64 or more players else 24 players finals or 50% equivalent). Anyone in the 32 players finals on Sunday can win the event!

The event will now be held across multiple days, qualifiers will run starting Friday March 1st until Sunday 3rd. Players will compete by playing on 6 machines, with their top 2 scores per machines counting. Qualifying will be open:
Friday: 5-11PM
Saturday: 1-1AM
Sunday: 10AM-4PM

The Ice Box Arcade also host their regular weekly tournament on Friday night which has in average more than 50+ players.
We are also working on putting together an event on Saturday for more WPPR opportunities and to practice on the games that will be in the finals.

Top 32 players at the end of the qualifiers will face off in a group matchplay finals, starting at 4:15 PM sharp. 4 players per group, 3 games per round, score 4/2/10, top 2 players at the end of the round moves on. The players will have choices of a bank of 3 games (Mixed era bank).
Any tie breaker will be done on the old game of the same bank the group is playing on, higher seed chose position.

No pre-registration again, we are keeping it simple, pay at the door, first come first serve. With the open format type, there is no restriction, just make sure you have enough time to play your 12 games minimum.

Entry fee is $20 (+ game coin drop) for your 12 entries. Unlimited rebuy is available for $20/4 games, to reduce the risk of long queues so make sure to make your 12 entries count.

*250% based on at least 48 eligible players leading into a top 24 finals.
