Tournament Overview
Start Date: April 24, 2022
End Date: June 19, 2022
It’s the return of our pinball league. Our season will start April 24 and proceed each weekend until June 18, skipping Memorial Day weekend.
Each week, players will compete in 4 games in a group of 4 (or 3) players. With their assigned group, each player will play one game each in the available pinball machines. 7, 5, 3 or 1 (or 7, 4, or 1) points will be awarded for player placement in each game. The current line up is Guardians of the Galaxy, Twilight Zone, AC/DC, and Iron Maiden. Groups will be assigned based on “Swiss pairing”, meaning players will be matched based on their performance in the previous week. Groups will be random the first week.
The finals will consist of a double elimination tournament where the top 50% of players will qualify. All remaining players will be invited to a secondary tournament, the winner of such would be allowed to advance to the main tournament. Seeding will be based on final regular season standings.
Pre-plays will not be allowed. Players will drop their lowest scoring week.
Entry is $5 which will go towards prizes and sanctioning.
We will continue our policy of respectful play in accordance with IFPA rules. No aggressive play, rage tilting, or course language. Violators will be warned with a yellow card, and repeat offenders will be asked to leave.
