Tournament times:
Unlimited Qualifying commences Monday 25 February to Friday 5 April 2019 inclusive and during the following business hours at Amusement Worx: Monday to Friday 10am-5pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm inclusive. Qualifying times also include lock-ins.

Finals will be held on Tuesday 9 April 2019 during the following times below.
Registration and warm up from 6pm-6.30pm sharp.
Information and questions from players from 6.30pm-6.40pm.
Tournament from 6.40pm-10pm.
QUALIFYING - Monday to Friday 10am-5pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm. Also lock-ins.
FINALS - 6.30-10pm.

Tournament fee: $1 per play. Finals - free.


TOURNAMENT FORMAT DETAILS:

QUALIFYING: Best Game.

1) Each players' two highest scores on two machines count.

2) Scoring system: Linear.

3) 50% of the qualifying field up to a maximum of 16 players will qualify for the finals.

FINALS: Group Matchplay.

1) Seeding: Players will be seeded according to their qualifying position.

2) First round pairing: Slaughter.

3) General pairing: Balanced - Players will be randomly paired with previously unfaced opponents.

4) Player order: Rotating - Random order for the first game, then rotates player order evenly.

5) Scoring system: IFPA (7/5/3/1) (7/4/1).

6) Arena draws: Balanced - Attempts will be made to assign an arena that has been played the fewest times by all opponents.

7) Duration: Four rounds.

8) Matches each round: Two matches.

9) Tiebreaker: Ties will be broken by the number of first place finishes, then by the number of second place finishes and finally, if necessary, a single game play-off on a machine chosen at random using a list randomiser. Ties will only be broken for first, second and third places.
