Francesco La Rocca, director of the tourney, with help from Koi Morris, Eddie Cramer and Allen Cihak, teamed up with the Rebecca Trent owner of The Creek and Cave Bar and Grille in Long Island City in Queens, NY and held its first inaugural tournament Sunday, February 16, 2014. It was attended by 27 players, some of whom came from NJ and PA to participate. The tournament consisted of two phases: qualification and survivor style.

All players played one game on each of 6 machines and the scores on each machine were ranked IFPA style. The ranking on all 6 games for each player were added up to give a total ranking with the maximum any one player could get is 600. After everybody played all 6 games, the top 8 qualifiers played in a survivor style playoffs rounds( Great play by Jerry Bernard who finish 1st on the qualifiers, follow by Andrew Friedman,). Two groups of 4 played on a randomly chosen (for each group) game from the 6 used in qualifying. The last place player from each group was eliminated and the rest moved on to two groups of 3. From each of those groups, the last place player in each group was eliminated. The remaining top 4 played on with the last place player taking 4th and the remaining 3 continuing on. Last place on the game played took 3rd and one final game between the remaining top 2 determined the winner of the tournament.

There was also a side tournament, pingolf style, on Lord Of The Rings. Players could play as many entries as they wanted with one game consisting of one entry to get a target score on the game. A player had to get the target score in as few balls as possible. If a player didn't reach the target score after three balls, then the player got 4 pinholes for that entry. For players who reached the target score within three balls (including any earned extra balls), they were allowed to play until their game was actually over to break any possible ties, Any ties in pinholes between players were resolved by their final score on the game.
