2026 IFPA WWC Recap
This past Saturday and Sunday, the 9th annual IFPA Women’s World Pinball Championship was held at Lyons Classic Pinball. A field of 32 of the world’s top women competitors based on both open and women’s-only standings traveled to Lyons, Colorado, to crown a new Women’s World Pinball Champion.
After a long and exciting day of qualifying – consisting of 4-player groups competing in 8 rounds of 3-game matches – the top 16 players moved on to compete in a single-elimination best-of-7 bracket.
Congratulations to Emily Reilhan of Port Moody, British Columbia, our 2026 IFPA Women’s World Champion! Emily won this title just two days after her historic win in the Women’s North American Pinball Championship. She and her finals opponent Ashley Weaver both earned double byes in qualifying, with Emily as top qualifier. Both women had unbelievably strong play all weekend long.
Emily won a NIB pinball machine courtesy of Stern Pinball, as well as a reserved spot to compete at the IFPA21 World Pinball Championships to be held in De Pere, Wisconsin, later this year.
Kaylee Campbell and Samantha Bacon placed 3rd and 4th respectively, decided in a best-of-3 bronze match where Kaylee won 2-0.
Congrats to our phenomenal top 4 finalists, and our warm thanks to all the competitors who came to support the championship and make it a success.
Massive thanks as well to our incredible hosts at Lyons Classic Pinball. Their team put together a world-class championship weekend, complete with 3 side tournaments and a cozy, well-stocked players’ lounge, courtesy of Comet Pinball. We are also grateful to Gordon Brown for lending his videography talents.
