The Arcade's Monthly Plunge
Entry fee to the tournament is $5.
Doors open at 11am, Matchplay will begin at 1!
Format for this month's Plunge will be a Swiss Pairing, Target Matchplay, using Pinburgh scoring, Race to 20 points. Each qualifying round will be groups of 4 (or 3) playing 1 game, using Pinburgh (3,2,1,0) scoring. After the target is reached, the top 50% or less of the field will move on to an Amazing Race Final.
Finals: Top Half of the field will play an Amazing Race Final. The top seed will get choice of the first 4 games (1 new, 1 mid, 1 old, 1 wildcard) that will be played. The first game will be played in reverse order, with the lowest seed playing the game first. The next player will attempt to beat the score put up by the previous player. Once a player has moved on, they will choose which of the games in the bank to play the next game in the race and begin. Once all players have finished the first game, the player with the lowest score is eliminated. After the first 4 games, the first player to move on will will choose the next game. The same games may not be chosen again.
Last person standing will be declared the final champion and receive the Silver Ball trophy!
All games are 2 tokens to play.
All extra balls will be off, if you are awarded an extra ball, please plunge it with no flips.
All rulings from Tournament Directors are final.
This is an IFPA Sanctioned event.
