Tournament Date: June 18, 2025
Welcome to the monthly Max Matchplay pinball tournament at Pixels Pints and Bytes in Norfolk! For more information on the format, please search the IFPA for max matchplay format. This format is a 3 hour session where we all play a set amount of games against each other 1 vs 1. The players are ranked by the most wins after that period.
The tournament will be a $5 entry fee. $1 for each player will go towards IFPA fees. The remaining money will be divided as payouts for the top 4 finishers. Sometimes, but not guaranteed, we have received additional prizes to give out from the bar owner.
We will play as many games as possible from 6:30 PM til 9:30 PM - usually around 15. Any ties in the top 4 will be handled by a one game playoff. Registration begins at 6PM at the table by the pinball machines downstairs.
Standard IFPA rules apply - we will NOT play extra balls in effort to keep games from lasting too long.
Games are NOT on free play but with $2 for 3 plays pricing and replays, you'll spend less than a typical evening playing.
Please register ASAP at the table near the games when you arrive! Look for dude 5'8" with hat glasses and macbook laptop.
