The format for this tournament at Amusement Worx is Group Matchplay.


Registration and warm-up starts at 5.45 and the comp itself starts at 6.35. DATE Tuesday June 17th.


INFORMATION.

1. Tournament name: Amusement Worx Group Matchplay Tournament Tuesday 17th June 2025.

2. Tournament director: Simon Wisbey. 3. Email: simon.w@amusementworx.com.au 4. Location: Amusement Worx, 285-287 Torrens Road West Croydon 5008 SA. 5. Registration and warm up 5.45-6.30 sharp. 6. Information and questions from players 6.30-6.35. 7. Tournament start: 6.35.

8. Format is Group Matchplay using next.matchplay.events

9. Players will be placed in groups of 4 or 3 depending on numbers.

10. First round groups will be based on IFPA rankings and subsequent rounds will be balanced.

11. Player order will be rotating.

12. The aim is to play six separate rounds of two matches (12 games per player). Depending on how long the tournament is running on the night, it may be shortened to five rounds of two matches. 13. Scoring system will be IFPA (7/5/3/1) (7/4/1).

14. The arenas may be placed in banks. Banks will be assigned in a balanced manner.

15. The winner is the player with the most points after the conclusion of the tournament.

16. Ties will be broken by comparing the strengths of opponents faced (automatic).

17. Entry fee: $26 (includes the $1 IFPA fee).

18. Event: Main.

19. Estimated # of players: 24. 20. Meaningful # of games played/tournament grading percentage (tgp): 24 for 96%.
