Who Doesn’t Want More Balls in Their Face? A Pin-Golf Tournament, AKA Julie’s BACHELORETTE PARTY. Steve Murphy asked Julie to marry him, she said yes, so now we are having a bachelorette pinball tournament to celebrate the upcoming wedding.
There will be multiple objectives that involve multi ball, and during qualifying there will be other fun and bachelorette activities happening.
Date & Time: May 3rd, 2025 Doors open at 2:30 PM Tournament starts at 3:05PM (tee time).
Location: Murphy’s on 21, at 13226 Tesson Ferry Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Entry Fee: $5 with $1 going to IFPA fee, plus coin drop ($0.75) for each game.
Full bar will be open. Must be 21 or over All skill levels welcomed
Event Tournament Directors will be Kristin and Brian
Qualifying: 9 Holes of Pin-Golf. What is Pin-Golf? Participants will be paired in groups and given scoresheets, and will play the 9 games that are listed, with groups starting at different holes (shotgun start). Each game will have a certain score or objective the player must reach, however many balls it takes each player to reach that score, is recorded on their scoresheet to be counted towards your total balls played at the end. Players with the lowest total balls played will advance to the finals. Each objective is to hit the target score or objective in 5 balls or less (5 strokes). If you do not hit the target score or objective on your last ball (ball 5) you will be given a penalty stroke and write down a 6 on your scoresheet. For example, Hole One’s objective might be to hit 200 million on Godzilla in 5 balls. If you do it on 1 ball, your score will be 1. If you do it on ball two, your score will be 2...and so on and so forth. Extra balls will be OFF. Just like golf, lower scores are better. After all participants have played the 9 games, the scoresheets will be added up for each player to determine a total score and then we will take the lowest scores to finals. You must play all holes to qualify for finals and you must be present to advance to finals. The # of players advancing to finals will depend on number of participants.
Finals: No more than 50% to finals, direct play of 3 or 4 player groups with only top two advancing to the next round, until final four. Top four will play one game with final results being the final standing. Number of players advancing to the finals will be determined by turnout and announced prior to the start of the tournament.
