We all know who REALLY saved pinball.

Catskill Classic Pinball PROUDLY presents this IFPA certified tournament celebrating The Man Who Saved Pinball.

$ 20 Entry Fee with $12 going to prize pool, and the remaining funds used for soft drinks & snacks, trophy for the Grand Champion, and IFPA certification fee. Please bring your own food. Also bringing your own lawn chair is recommended.

Important: This is a PRIVATE location and all participants and guests MUST be approved by host. Registration list maintained on FecalBook event page or contact host via text 9one7-8two8-two594. Limited to 44 players, first come first served.

Doors open 11am. Qualifying round starts approx. 1pm. Qualifying should end by 7pm. Note: There ‘may’ be scheduled breaks for entertainment.

Qualifying format is ‘Max Matchplay’, featuring head to head matches and every player competing in the same amount of matches. Win-loss record determines standings. Top 16 or if less than 16, the top 50% advance to finals.

Finals Format: PAPA-style meaning groups of 4 (possibly 3) will play 3 games with 4-3-2-1 or 3-2-1 scoring. Top 2 players from each group advance. Top seed in each group has pick of game or may defer game pick to next seeded player and choose play order. Play order choice based on seeding. Play extra balls unless otherwise noted.

All necessary tie-breakers will be 3 ball game on Stern Stars or Stern Memory Lane if Stars is unavailable.

Top 8 cash from prize pool: 35/20/15/10/5/5/5/5% Plus a trophy for Grand Champion.

This tournament will be followed by a late-night-strikes tournament if enough are up for it. Separate entry fee. Start time approx 1030pm.
