This will be our first ever attempt at holding an IFPA critical hit deck matchplay three strike tournament. This tournament utilizes IFPA approved playing cards to impact the pinball games. If you do not like randomness in your pinball tourneys because you feel randomness impacts fairness, please simply skip this event (and come to a different tourney we host!) as the critical hit deck will instill a good deal of fun and wacky randomness into this tourney.
Matchplay three strike tournament (last place finisher each group/round gets a strike). Groups will be divided into three or four people (depending on the number of attendees). People who tie will play a head to head game to break the tie for the finishing position.
Side Tourney - Assault the Vault: You will get one play on a machine and your score will be recorded. Top four qualify to play another four player head to head game on that machine to determine 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The side tourney will not utilize the critical hit deck.
$10 entry fee. Snacks and water provided. We are not capping the number of attendees, but you must register no later than two weeks before this event through TigerLaw on Pinside or through the Louisiana IFPA Rep Mike at 337-962-4078. Register by providing your full name, your cell phone number, and the address of your primary residence…we do run background checks on people we do not know, offenders will not be permitted on the premises.
