Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: March 31, 2015
Format for
Tuesday Night Live at The Pinlab - WHOPPER EDITION
Tournament is endorsed by IFPA, results are submitted and World Ranking points will be awarded.
Qualification:
Qualification will be played single matches 1 on 1 on as many machines as needed for everybody in your group to meet once on a new machine.
If the number of players are from 2-16 we will play in one big group. (Not that likely) From 17-32 players we will play in two groups. (Very likely) From 33- and upwards we will play in three groups. (Highly unlikely).
Players ranked in top 1000 in IFPA's World Rankings will be seeded and divided into the groups - rest will be placed at random.
Example: If 28 people attend we will play two groups of 14. Each player will have to play 13 matches - best of one game on a new machine with a new opponent each time.
Best 4 (or 6) from each group advances to A-finals (next 4 (or 6) advances to B-finals).
Finals
We will go from 8 (or 12) players to 4 (or 6) by playing matches best of 5 on different machines (top qualifier chooses first machine, loser chooses next machine from here.)
We will go from 4 (or 6) players to 2 (or 3) just as the first round - by playing matches best of 5 on different machines (top qualifier chooses first machine, loser chooses next machine from here.)
Final will either be like semifinals - best of five (if two people). Or best of three games if three players). Every finalist then chooses a machine.
Ties
All ties from qualification through to the finals will be played best of one game on machine chosen in advance by the TD.
Prizes
Chocolate and TAG on the wall for eternal fame for the winners - no trophies or cash prizes.
Entry fee
100 DKK
