The third stop for the 2025 DFW Pinball League is the "Hotter Than Mother’s Pinball" tournament at Rick Miller’s house in Keller, Texas.
This tournament should be worth more than 150% TGP - some come get your WPPR points!

DOORS OPEN AT 10:15 AM.
REGISTRATION STARTS AT 10:15 AM.
WARMUP TIME STARTS AT 10:30 AM (excludes EMs).
TOURNAMENT MEETING/START AT 11:00 AM.
***** To prevent electro-mechanical (EM) games from breaking, NO warmup time on the EMs will be provided prior to tournament start. In accordance with the rules, players may take 30 seconds at the start of their FIRST game on an EM for warmup. The EM machines will be off until the tournament starts. *****

HIGH SCORE SIDE TOURNAMENT
Cash will be paid out for high scores on each of 5 specific games. Everyone has a chance!
High scores and names will be posted on a white board/similar.
High score is ONLY VALID during a tournament game - must be witnessed by a tournament official (or Rick Miller). If neither is available take a picture of the score. You must have a witness from your group during the round.
High scores must be reported/recorded before the next round is started.
If you do not play a machine during the qualifying rounds, you will get ONE chance to play that game for a high score at the end of qualifying.
Amount of money payment per machine is based on number of tournament players.
For example, forty players equal $40 dollar payout per machine.
You CAN win on more than one machine.
CAPTAIN FANTASTIC, PARAGON, and HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS MACHINES:
No tip box today --- instead, on these THREE (3) machines, on the honor system, if you lose the ball BETWEEN the double flippers, there will be a $1 penalty.
This part is NOT sanctioned by the IFPA and will be managed by our host, Rick Miller.
MAIN TOURNAMENT
Qualifying is "group matchplay style". This means you'll be playing in four player groups on multiple machines.
We will play as many rounds as we can in 5 hours (based on time the round starts).
Playoffs/Finals will LIKELY be Group Elimination/PAPA Style, which is similar to the above, but with lower performing players being eliminated as we go forward (until there's a winner).
THERE WILL BE PLAYOFFS FOR BOTH A AND B DIVISIONS SO ALL SKILL LEVELS CAN PLAY AND WIN!
We have PRIZES for the B Division players and ...
... ALSO random door prizes for ANYONE in the tournament regardless of standings/rankings!
The B Division is restricted as follows (Note that these rules have changed for 2024):
-- players in the top 1000 in the IFPA rankings are ineligible for B division
-- players who have placed in the TOP 3 in any of the 3 most recent DFW Pinball League events are ineligible for B division
-- THUS: many of the top players are excluded from the B Division so that ANYONE CAN WIN!
For the tournament, late entrants will be allowed until halfway through qualifying.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!!
Based on the standings after ROUND 3 from the tournament's qualifying we also hold a:
----- "KIDZ FINAL" -----
This is ONE GAME played by kids aged 16 and under for a various age appropriate prizes!
To insure that its fair and everyone can win, a child is EXCLUDED from the KIDZ FINAL for next event after they WIN, thus giving other kids a chance to win too.
The KIDZ Final is unsanctioned/exclusive from the tournament playoffs. That means kids can play in BOTH if they want!
FOOD:
Our host says- "I’ll have some food, water and extra beer"
Also, POT LUCK is good to ensure there is enough food for a large group. People should bring their own soft drinks/sodas and adult beverages.
