In support of PA States Championship weekend and upcoming Winter Classics League finals, we're running a special classics-only edition of the Big Battle. A 3:30pm start should allow some of the folks from states to play while still allowing the women competing in States on Sunday to finish at a reasonable hour.

Doors open at 2, First round starts at 3:30pm.

$15 for all day entry for the Dojo, $5 for tournament fee.
100% of entry fees go cash (and non-cash) prizes!

QUALIFYING
– 8 rounds of match play
– Players will be put into groups of 4 (or 3 when necessary) and play ONE randomly selected game
– Scoring on each game is 7/5/3/1

NUMBER OF QUALIFIERS
24 – 31 players – Top 12 qualify (top 4 receive byes)
32 – 47 players – Top 16 qualify
48 – 64 players – Top 24 qualify (top 8 receive byes)
Top 8 players with IFPA ranking >850 will qualify for B finals.

PLAYOFFS
– Groups of 3-4 will compete in Pinburgh style match play
– Each round will contain 3 games
– Scoring will be 3/2/1/0
– Top two from each group will advance to the next round

Games will be a mix of EM and solid state games
