Tournament Date: February 01, 2025
The word of the people have been heard! Join us for a Stern Vault Launch Party that will spark the interest of every pinball enthusiast! Ground Kontrol will be releasing Shrek from the basement! A Dog Soccer Entertainment production brought to you in collaboration with the Inlane Clown Posse.

Location: Ground Kontol Arcade (115 NW 5th Ave, Portland, OR 97209)
Date: Saturday, February 1st
Time: Sign-ups at 12:30pm, tournament starts at 1pm; Qualifiers expected to end ~5pm; Finals to follow 15-30 minutes after.
Entry: $6, with the option to purchase a $5 GK freeplay card. DSE covers the $1 IFPA fee for vault theme attire!

Format
Qualifiers: Target Matchplay; expect between 5 to 7 rounds of play (IFPA scoring: 7/5/31; 7/4/1); 1st player across the target score ends the rounds!
Finals: Group elimination matchplay, 3 Machines per round (PAPA Scoring: 4/2/1/0), top 2 players from each group advance; final 4 play for 1st/2nd/3rd/4th; headcount TBD on participation (Expected Top 8). Top qualifying seeds for each group will be able to select from banks curated to the Shrek Vault Launch theme!
B + C Division playoffs: Given the headcount, top eligible players outside of the finals may participate and win the B and C division playoffs. Prizes to the top player in each division. Expect a 4-player, 3-machine finals (PAPA Scoring: 4/2/1/0) for each division, with the highest seed picking from the remaining available banks.
B Division: ifpa global rank 2k+
C Division: New, or ifpa global rank 6k+
Machines (Qualifying + Finals): machines in qualifying and finals will be curated based on existence before the launch of Shrek (2008). No games from the “future” will be included.
