Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: June 14, 2015
This will be a 2 stage tournament. No cost for the tournament- just for competition and WPPR's.
Stage one only has one metric, beat James Daley (aka, fna_royam) in a best of 5 head to head. Stage one will be every 2nd Sunday of the month in 2015 from 1- 4pm. Additionally, If you want to schedule individually with me at another time or location PM me or shoot me an e-mail at mayor at townhallpinball dot org. I'll be playing most of Stage one at Lyman's but am ameniable to other locations should it be convenient. I will not be participating in the tournament, i'll be the stage one gatekeeper and tournament director. My goal over the next few months is to play at least 50 people. If you win the head to head you go to the finals, if you loose your out. this will count as 5 games to Path to the Final if i defeat more than 50%, if i defeat less than 50% then it will not count as games for total games played.
Stage 2 will be the finals. Finals are on June 14th 2015 starting at one o'clock. If we have more than 9 people in the finals we will have a 2 strikes tournament to eliminate down to 9 people. Once we are at 9 people we will be playing a 3 game set, 3 player groups, papa scoring top 2 per group advance. Final 6 will be 3 game set, 3 player groups, papa scoring top two per group advance. Final 4 will be 3 game set, 4 player group, top two advance. Final 2 players will play a best of 5. Finals will be 14 games plus however many rounds it takes to eliminate down to 9 players for total games for Path to the Final for WPPR purposes.
All told it will be at or near 25 games for Path to the final plus however many people i can schedule to play phase one with me so it should be a lucrative WPPR tournament. Any questions please e-mail or PM me.
