The Arcade's Monthly Plunge
Entry fee to the tournament is $5.
Doors open at 11am, Matchplay will begin at 1!
Format for this month's Plunge will be a Balanced Pairing, 8 round Group Matchplay, using IFPA scoring. Each qualifying round will be groups of 4 (or 3) playing 1 game, using IFPA (7,5,3,1) scoring. After 8 rounds, the top 8 or half of the field will play an Amazing Race Final.
Finals: Top 8 or Half of the field will play an Amazing Race Final. The top seed will get choice of the first 4 games (1 new, 1 mid, 1 old, 1 wildcard) that will be played. The first game will be played in reverse order, with the lowest seed (8th) playing the game first. The next player will attempt to beat the score put up by the previous player. Once a player has moved on, they will choose which of the games in the bank to play the next game in the race and begin. Once all players have finished the first game, the player with the lowest score is eliminated. When there are 4 players left, the top seed remaining will choose another bank of 3 games, (1 new, 1 mid, 1 old) to finish the tournament on. The same games may not be chosen again.
Last person standing will be declared the final champion and receive the Silver Ball trophy!
All games are 2 tokens to play.
All extra balls will be off, if you are awarded an extra ball, please plunge it with no flips.
All rulings from Tournament Directors are final.
This is an IFPA Sanctioned event.
