Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: January 18, 2025
Where: ULEKstore's Pinball and Classic Arcade
2121 N Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162
Time: Doors to the arcade open at 9am... tournament will start promptly at 11am
Date: Saturday January 18, 2025.
Fee: $6.00 plus coin drop ($1.00 towards IFPA fees + $5.00 pays out to players in each division)
Format: This will be a timed tournament. We will play from 11:00am - 2:30pm. NO NEW QUALIFYING ROUNDS will start after 2:30pm All of the qualifying rounds will have IFPA scoring of 7/5/3/1 (groups of 4) or 7/4/1 (in groups of 3).
Finals: After the qualifying rounds have been completed, the top 8 seeds will compete in A and B Division Finals. The finals will be in a PAPA style format, where the top seed from each division will get to either pick the games or order. Each division will pick 3 games with scoring of 4,2,1,0. After the 3 rounds are over, the highest total score of all 3 games determines the winner of that division, second highest score is the second place finisher... and so on. A-Division will consist of players 1 - 4 and will play in a best of 3 games finals format.
1st Place- 30% of prize pool + A Division Trophy
2nd Place- 25% of prize pool
3rd Place - 15% of prize pool
B-Division will consist of players 5 - 8 and will play in a best of 3 games finals format.
1st Place - 15% of prize pool + B Division Trophy
2nd Place - 10% of prize pool
3rd Place - 5% of the prize pool
