Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 07, 2024
This is a ladies division IFPA tourney to be held in Lake Charles Louisiana on Saturday, December 7th starting at 6:30pm (if you need to come early or if you have some other need please let us know and we will try to accommodate you). Entree fee is $1 per person (utilized to cover the IFPA fee). Our tourneys using this format are fairly fast (usually three hours), but some people hang around after the tourney and play pinball.
Qualifying will be six games using matchplay best game modified decay scoring; all six games count (none are taken out of the software and all games add to your placement). Top four (or top 8 if we have 16 or more ladies playing) will be in the finals. Finals will be a four player game, with last place finishing 4th and dropping out; then a three player game, with last place finishing 3rd and dropping out; and then one final head to head game to determine 1st and 2nd place (note, if the finals is with 8 people there will be tracks and they get merged together when down to 2 players in each track).
We are not putting any limit on the number of ladies so there is no formal registration. We do ask that attendees give us a courtesy heads up they are coming at least two days in advance so that we have an appropriate amount of snacks of waters and what not…we like to be good hosts, to be good hosts we need to know you are coming. :-)
