The format will be 8 qualifier rounds of group matchplay. The top 16 players (depending on number in attendance) advance to finals. Point structure will be: 4 Player groups -7 points for 1st place, 5 points for 2nd place, 3 points for 3rd place and 1 point for 4th place. 3 Player groups will go with 7 points for 1st place, 4 points for 2nd place, and 1 point for 3rd place. Finals will be one game group matchplay, with the top two players from each group advancing until two players remain and then they play one game for the win. Any tiebreaks will be group matchplay on one randomly chosen game.
We will be using the Critical Hit card set for this tournament. These cards let you change your group, switch scores, shake games and other shenanigans and malarkey.
The cost to enter is $10 (includes IFPA $1 fee).This tournament is open to pinball players of all ages and skill levels.
