The launch party event for Sterns newest game Uncanny X-Men. This will be a Group Match Play tournament with 6 rounds of 1 game each for qualifying rounds. Top 8 (if this is less than half of the total) will compete in three game elimination rounds to determine the winner. The final three games will take place on X-men ONLY!
Entry fee is $9 + $1 IFPA FEE plus coin-drop.


Tournament details:

Doors open at 11am for warm ups, Tournament starts 2.00 pm.
- We are running a MatchPlay tournament using MatchPlay events.
- There will probably be 15 machines in use.
- Machines used TBD tournament day.
- Players will be grouped in groups of threes or fours.
- Every player will play 6 matches in total to qualify for the finals.
- In each round each group will play a single game on a randomly selected machine with X-Men being favored.
- Groupings will be set to balance.
- At the close of the 6th round, the highest ranking players will advance to finals
- Finals are group MatchPlay
- Cash for 1st, 2nd, 3rd (with consolations prizes for players throughout the event)
- 1st place Winner wins Stern Uncanny X-Men Grand Champion Plaque
