Tournament Date: October 05, 2024
Maple Pinballs Non Marathon Saturday Match Play Tournament!
Tournament will start at 11 AM with doors opening at 10 AM. Cost is $50, if paid by Sept. 20, add $5 at the door. We are trying to gauge the number of players in advance for set-up/food. This fee includes entry, food, and payouts.
Qualifying will consist of 5 rounds of 4 player group match play. Each round will have 3 games being played, an electro mechanical, a solid state, and a modern (12 total games).
Playoffs will be up to top 16 players, or half of attendance, and will be group elimination. Significant tie breakers only (for byes & last playoffs spots). Top seeds in each group will get to pick their bank of 3 games.
In the event of a tie breaker, one game of a random solid state game will be played by all players tied for a playoff spot, regardless of how many firsts or seconds were achieved during qualifying. All tie breaker order is determined by top seed getting first choice of order.
Top seeds cannot pick same banks 2x in a row.
This tournament is expected to be concluded by 7 PM or earlier.
