We intend a top 8 playoffs for this one. 4 player groups. 4/2/1/0 scoring. 2 games per round with Swiss pairing. No new rounds after 10:30pm. *** THE MAIN EVENT IS AN IFPA CERTIFIED EVENT WITH 125% BOOST *** Main Event Qualifying: QUALIFYING is "group matchplay style" on Saturday. This means you'll be playing in four player groups on multiple machines. There will be 10 rounds withe 2 games per round. Main Event Finals: FINALS is "Group Elimination/PAPA Style", which is similar to the above, but with lower performing players being eliminated as we go forward (until there's a winner). This means you'll be playing in four player groups on multiple machines. Top 24 in A will play in the finals. This WILL affect final standings. The next 16 will play in the B finals. B Division playoffs is playing for cash and/or prizes - they do NOT affect final standings (as per published IFPA rules). Fair Strikes Side Tournament: Five ( 5 ) strikes Fair Strikes Tournament. All players will play together, no divisions -- In every game, the first place player will get NO STRIKES. In every game, the last place player will get TWO (2) STRIKES. All other players (if any) on each game will get ONE (1) STRIKE. The B Division is restricted as follows for this event: No one in the top 2500 in the IFPA as of 9/14/2024 may play in the B Division -- so many of the top players are excluded from the B Division so that ANYONE CAN WIN! There will NOT be a KIDZ FINAL / kids tournament at this event.
