Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: August 08, 2024

The tournament format shall be the best game formate of matchplay utilizing the modified decay scoring methodology. Three games will be in play and you will be permitted two plays on each of the three games. Each game will be its own arena and both of your plays on each game will count. This will give six (6) meaningful games in the IFPA system for the qualifying. The finals will be head to head; the top four shall qualify and play a four player game with last place dropping out and finishing fourth; then a three player game will be played with last place dropping out and and finishing third; then a final head to head game for the championship!! Total of 11 meaningful games in the IFPA system (so this is a small and fast tourney).

$1 entry fee per lady (to cover the IFPA entry fee). There will be no formal registration required though we do expect people to give us a courtesy heads up that they plan to attend. This is a women’s only event. Spouses are not invited to attend (except our scorekeepers). Children are not invited to attend (exceptions may be made for minors that are actually playing in the tourney, but they must be supervised by their parent and abide by the tourney rules).

6pm start time. The goal is to be done by 9pm, but 9:30pm seems to be when we’ve been finishing up in other women’s tourneys using this format.
