Monthly weekend pinball tournament at My Parents' Basement!
Launch Party for the new John Wick machine. Winner gets the Stern Pinball Launch Party Grand Champion plaque! Additional prizes and random giveaways provided by Stern.
Format: Fair Strikes
w/ Balanced Pairings
and Bounty prizes
Entry fee: $5 plus dollars for games
Register from 11:30-11:55 am
First round starts at 12:00 pm noon
Just like last month, we'll distribute the prize pool using a bounty system. We'll have a gold coin from the High Table for each player (actually pirate coins because licensed coins are expensive!). Knock out your opponents to earn their coins and claim your portion of the prize pool.
You're knocked out when you get your 8th (or more) strike.
When a player gets their 8th strike they're knocked out and they give up the gold coin they started with.
4th place knocked out: 1st place in that group gets the coin.
3rd & 4th place knocked out: 1st & 2nd place each get a coin.
2nd & 4th place knocked out: 1st & 3rd place each get a coin.
2nd & 3rd place knocked out: 1st & 4th place each get a coin (plus 1st place should see the TD for a bonus)
2nd, 3rd & 4th knocked out: 1st place gets all 3 coins.
Turn in any coins you have earned to claim your portion of the prize pool.
Fair strikes knockout. Play in 3 or 4 player groups and try to get the best score in your group. Everyone plays at least 4 rounds (most will play at least 5 or 6 rounds). Final standings determined by strikes and elimination order; no separate qualifying and finals.
Four player groups: 0/1/1/2 strikes for 1st/2nd/3rd/4th place. Three player groups: 0/1/2 strikes. Two player groups: 0/2 strikes.
