Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: May 30, 2024
Building on the success of Romp in the Swamp IX and the first ever success women’s only tournament in Lake Charles, comes the 2024 ICCS Women’s Pinball Championships! (Please note you do not have to be an ICCS mother or staff member to come to this tourney, we will enthusiastically accept all ladies and the more the merrier so please do not let the name of this tourney prevent you from joining us).
The tournament format shall be the best game formate of matchplay modified decay scoring. Four games will be in play and you will be permitted two plays on each of the four games. Each game will be its own arena and both of your plays on each game will count. This will give eight (8) meaningful games in the IFPA system for the qualifying. The finals will be head to head; the top four shall qualify and play a four player game with last place dropping out and finishing fourth; then a three player game will be played with last place dropping out and and finishing third; then a final head to head game for the championship!! We believe this means the tournament will have 13 meaningful games for the IFPA system.
$1 entry fee per lady (to cover the IFPA entry fee). There will be no formal registration though we do expect people to give us a courtesy heads up that they plan to attend.
