Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: June 23, 2024
When: June 23rd. Doors open at 11am and Tournament starts at noon.
Cost: No entry fee, just pay to play the games. Most pinball machines are .50 but some of the older games are .25. Trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Qualifying: We will do 5 rounds of group Matchplay, each round consists of 3 games. (15 games total) Each group will be assigned using "balanced pairing" on Matchplay and a random bank of games will be assigned to the group. Each bank will consist of three games which will include a classic, mid, and modern machine. After the group plays all three games, players will be awarded points using IFPA scoring (7/5/3/1) for four player, and (7/4/1) for three player groups.
After 7 rounds, we will take the top half into finals.
Finals: Finals will be like qualifying, except the top seed in the group picks the bank the group is playing. After the 3 games are played, the top two players move on to the next round. Last player standing wins!
