Welcome to Pin-cline Village, NV. We are doing a mid summer event that will be the inaugural. Let's make it a banger!
Day one is best game format. You will get 3 attempts per game and your highest score is what you get points from. Scoring will be 100/99/98....... Here's the best part. It is all day so you can qualify at your convenience for the next day. Say you have plans later on, come in at open and set your scores. Hiking or just getting into town? No problem! Come by after and see what the scores are and start making attempts. Saturday event starts at 12pm and goes until 8pm! That is a full work shift of events!! Beautiful part is you make the time for it. Expect at least 19 games to play. Maybe a few outside also. Why not? It is Lake Tahoe after all! This will determine divisions for the next day. Divisions will rely on how many people attend.
Day two is match play with best of 5 games. Amount of match rounds will be determined by how many play. Each round will knock out two people. If enough play, we may let the world burn and finish the last 4 with Amazing Race. We can talk it over.
Entry will be $40 for the weekend. $5 goes to the venue, $1 to IFPA and the rest to divisions. Upper division does get a higher pot and trickles down to the other divisions. It will be an A, B and C division. Divisions will be set up after qualifying.
So the reason it is set up like this is our venue can hold 45 people at one time. So, if you come to qualify and it is full, you have to wait. Is just a rule. We don't make it. Day 2 will only have so many people in at a time. We may stream the event so it can be seen live too.
We recommend checking Carson City and Reno for accommodations. Prices are far better than Tahoe but we could talk to the Hyatt and see if they will do a block of rooms too. Again, depends on turnout.
