Qualifications
Scoresheets. You will have 3 attempts on 5 games. The best two on each game counts. 16 Players advance to the playoffs.
Playoff
The top 16 are divided into groups of 4 from the qualifications:
Group A 1,8,9,16.
Group B 2,7,10,15.
Group C 3,6,11,14.
Group D 4,5,12,13.
Everyone in each group meets everyone in that group in a singel Round Robin in best of 5 games in each match.
Banks are chosen from the 5-bank setup, the highest seeded player in Group A start to choose the first bank then highest seeded player in Group B aso. The second bank that will be available for each group is chosen by the player in group D ranked 5th from qualification downwards to the 8th ranked player in group A. Each group will by this have 10 games to choose from in the playoff.
The highest seeded player chooses the opponent and first game in each group and starts the first game, the 2nd seeded player chooses next game available from the two banks available for that group and starts that game. THEN, in the following games when you are about to chose the next game there will be no waiting for a favourite game, chose a game that is available! Any player that do not respect this, will be be granted a loss on the machine you attempted to wait for. In each duel a player can chose the same game only once.
Then the two best from each group advances to The Norwegian Championship Final on Sunday.
Tiebraker will be the head-to-head meetings followed by "goal difference" (example if you win 2 games 3-1 and lose one 0-3 you have 6-5 in "goal difference")
Finals
8 players in Single Elimination Bracket, each bracket best of 5 games. Seeding in initial brackets will be based on the “goal difference” from the playoff, if the goal difference is equal between two players the seeding from the qualification should be accounted for. Best seeded player chooses a bank from the 5-bank setup. Then the other 3 brackets chooses a bank. In second round the top bracket chooses the first bank and the lower bracket cannot choose the same.
The winner of the last bracket is the new Norwegian Champion!
