GOTTLIEB'S HOT SHOT PINBALL MACHINE GIVEAWAY!

Date: Saturday, June 1st, 2024

Time: Doors to the arcade open at 9am. You MUST be signed in for the tournament BEFORE 10:45am. We will begin going over the tournament rules at 10:45am so the tournament can begin promptly at 11am (Eastern)

Cost: $40 per person + Coin drop.*

Format: We will be hosting a 5 round (2 bank) group match play tournament, with IFPA scoring of 7/5/3/1. Each bank of games will have one (1) modern LCD/DMD game AND one (1) Classic game in it.

Players will be randomly placed in a 3-4 player group and will need to play both games (one modern and one classic game). Points will then be tallied and we'll move on to the next round. You'll then be placed in a different bank of games (one modern and one classic) with a different group of players. You'll continue to do that until all 5 rounds have been completed.

After all 5 qualifying rounds are played, the top 16 seeds will advance to the playoffs. Playoffs will consist of four (4) groups;

Group One - Seeds 1, 8, 9, 16
Group Two - Seeds 2, 7, 10, 15
Group Three - Seeds 3, 6, 11, 14
Group Four - Seeds 4, 5, 12, 13

Each group will play one Classic game and one Modern game. The top seeds in each group will get to pick both games OR the order for the round. Bottom two (2) finishers in each group will be ELIMINATED. Finalists will keep playing until we reach the final four (4) players.


Prize Pool money will be paid out to the top 8 finalists!
1st Place - trophy plus 35% of prize pool
2nd Place - 20% of prize pool
3rd Place - 15% of prize pool
4th Place - 10% of prize pool
5th - 8th Places - 5% of prize pool (each)

For example: If we have 60 players participating then we'll have a prize pool of $1,200.00 -- 1st place will receive $420.00, 2nd place will receive $240.00 and so on....

Please note: The pinball machine will be given away at RANDOM immediately following the qualifying rounds. So NO SKILL is needed to win the pinball machine - just a whole lot of LUCK!

Again, if there are 60 people that participates in the tournament... you will have a 1 in 60 chance of winning the pinball machine. There will also be folks in attendance that would willing to purchase the pinball machine from you if you are the lucky winner and would like to simply sell it for a quick sale. The choice is yours!

Current value of a Gottlieb's Hot Shot (EM) pinball machine is between $1,080 - $1,190.

*$1.00 goes towards IFPA, $20 goes towards prize pool (paid out to the top 8 players) and the rest goes towards the cost of trophies and pinball machine and depending on amount of players then we'll purchase additional prizes that will be given away at random along with the pinball machine.
