Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: April 13, 2024
Hello! Benton Parkade will be hosting a non-Stern Army launch/release party in honor of Pulp Fiction on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. (Doors at 10:00 a.m.) Cost to enter the tournament is $10 (two $5 milkshakes,) plus coin drop. Format will be seven rounds of Match Play (7, 5, 3, 1) (7, 4, 1) for four/three-player groups, respectively. Finals will be held on Pulp Fiction. We hope to take at least the top eight qualifiers to finals, depending upon turn-out.
If this is your first time playing in an IFPA-sanctioned event, your entry fee will be free! Entry fees (minus the $1 IFPA fee for sanctioning the event) will go directly back to the players in the form of cash payouts for at least the overall top three finishers. There will be some pretty cool attendance prizes given away each round, as well!
Everyone is encouraged to come in any Tarantino film-related costume. If that's not your thing, no worries. Come have a great time, anyway! Minors accompanied by an adult are welcome to enter the tournament, but just be mindful that settings on Pulp Fiction will be on "Profane" mode.
Café Piazza staff will be there to take care of your eating/drinking needs. If you would like to join us, please RSVP on this post, email Valerie Iriarte at vrader3180@gmail.com, message Valerie on Facebook, or just show up the day of the tournament. Come get Tarantino-style weird with us! :)
