Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: March 17, 2024
It's JAWS Launch Party time! There will be prizes, there will be Stern-branded 3d glasses for the first 25 guests, there will be sharks, and there will be pinball! We will start at noon, but doors will be open at 8AM.
JAWS is loose and he has attacked our precious pinball machines. He ate outlane rubbers, made tilts tiltier, and somehow used his enormous fins to go into game settings and make modern games harder. Dammit, Bruce! JAWS isn't going to make winning this launch party easy!
Format: Join Quint, Hooper, and Brody on a Target Matchplay adventure. The first 4 players to reach 33 points (3,2,1,0 scoring) will advance on the Orca to the playoffs. The playoffs will be Pepit, I mean PAPA style scoring (4,2,1,0) for three games all on JAWS. The winner will get the JAWS Launch Party plaque.
This format is subject to change (they always are!) If JAWS has issues on tourney day, all finals games will be played on randomly chosen Stern titles.
Cost and Prizes: $5. $1 from each player will go to IFPA, the rest to the top 4. 1st - 50%, 2nd - 25%, 3rd 15%, 4th 10%
Sponsor: JBO Pinball will add $50 to the pot and provide random prize giveaways!
This tournament is open to everyone 21 and older. Please be respectful to the facility, the games, and to each other!
