The Arcade Presents:
JAWS - Official Stern Army Launch Tournament!
Saturday, February 24th
Entry fee to the tournament is $5.
Doors open at 11am, Matchplay will begin at 1pm!
Format for this launch tournament will be a Target Matchplay, using swiss pairing. The target is 20 points. Each round will be groups of 4 (or 3) playing 1 game, using Pinburgh (3,2,1,0) scoring. After the target is reached, the top 8 players, or a maximum of 50% of the field, will move on to a Ladder Matchplay Final. All others will play a 2 strike B Final.
The Ladder Finals will be groups of 4, beginning with the 5,6,7,8 seeds, playing 1 game of JAWS. Whoever takes last in the game is eliminated. The other players move on and we will add the 4th seed. Ect…
During the finals, the top seed in the group will have a choice of their player order for that game.
Last person standing will be declared the JAWS Grand Champion and be awarded the Launch Tournament Plaque.
All games are 2 tokens to play.
All extra balls will be off, if you are awarded an extra ball, please plunge it with no flips.
All rulings from Tournament Directors are final.
This is an IFPA Sanctioned event.
All Finals Games will be played on JAWS.
