Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: July 21, 2024
All tournaments will have announcements start at 1:00 pm, and will begin immediately after.
Monthly tournaments are 2.5 hours group matchplay with every effort being made to play in groups of 4 (7/5/3/1 scoring) or groups of 3 (7/4/1). The only tie-breaker that will be resolved is for 1st, and will consist of 1 game on a randomly chosen game, using a coin flip to determine order. No new game will start after 2.5 hours of matchplay (all games in progress will finish and still count.) TD will announce end time and keep official countdown.
Each monthly tournament will cost $5.00 + coin drop, and will be broken down in this way:
$1 goes to winner of each tournament
$1 goes to the pot for the series winner as determined after the 10th tournament
$3 goes to charity pot for the winner of finals to donate to the charity/charities of their choice.
To be eligible for finals, you must play in at least 5 of the 10 monthly tournaments. Finals is a PAPA style finals for those who qualify, with seeding based on final series standings. Any and all tie breakers will be settled with a 1 game playoff, with higher seed choosing game or order.
Last year, our series winner received $123, and our charity received $408! Let’s see if we can reach a $500 donation this year!
