2023 Alligator Creek Timed Matchplay

Single game rounds of matchplay, 7531 scoring, with no more rounds starting after 6pm. Balanced games and pairings.
There will be 1 or 2 breaks, with these times announced (within 30 mins) prior to tournament start.
After the qualifying rounds have completed (6pm), Finals will commence. 50% of field to advance to finals in a number divisible by 4.
Finals are 3 games, banks will be pre selected. Can only choose 1 bank during the finals series – may defer bank choice. Highest seed gets bank choice, if deferred, goes to next highest seed.
Finals as follows depending on amount of people in finals. All rounds are 3 games, 7531 scoring
8 –. 8, 4, 2 3 rounds
12 – 8 (top 4 byes, bottom 2 drop out from each group), 8, 4 3 rounds
16 – 16, 8, 4 3 rounds
20 – 16 (top 4 byes, bottoms player drops from each round 1 group), 16, 8,4 4 rounds
24 – 16 (top 8 byes, 2 players drop out from each group), 16,8,4 4 rounds
