Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 12, 2023
Pingolf Scoring, Matchplay Qualifying. Play start at 17:00 as much as we have time for, no more rounds after 20:00.
Finals: As many as possible, but no more than 50% will advance to finals with a max limit of 8.
8players: Same format as qualifying with pingolf scoring, the 1st seed is grouped with 3rd seed and 8th and 6th. Everyone chooses one hole, so both groups play 4 holes. Strokes are added together and whoever has least amount of strokes is winner. Tiebreakers are played as needed.
6players: Two 3 player groups of Matchplay w Pingolf Scoring play 1 randomly chosen hole, player order determined by seed - groups chosen according to same pattern as 8player format, one player with the most strokes on that one hole is eliminated, one from each group, the remaining 4 play same as the 8player format.
4players: same as 8player format.
2players: Best of 5 pingolf scoring, best seed chooses hole or player order, result from last hole will determine who gets the advantage to choose next hole or player order.
