Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: November 11, 2023
In partnership with Belles and Chimes Scranton, the Electric City Pinball Show Tournament women's division will be a “best game" tournament format with a $20 entry fee. Players will play from a bank of arenas. Players will play all machines in the arena at least once. There is no limit to the number of attempts made on each arena; however, players will be charged $5 per arena for every additional attempt. Players are awarded points (PAPA scoring) for each arena they play based on their highest score on that arena. The 8 players with the most overall points will advance to the finals. Finals will be a group elimination format. The 8 players will be paired in 4 player games. The top two players from each game will advance. This continues until there are only 4 players left to advance to the final round. A final 4-player game will determine final player positions. The top players will receive cash prizes (number of players receiving cash prizes depends on the number of competitors). Players must register to play in the tournament online or at the venue. Players can register at any time on Saturday, November 11th at Groove Brewing on the day of the tournament. There will be a table near the tournament area with a staff member waiting to assist with registration. Tournament players are encouraged to register early to allow for enough time to play all arenas at least once. Players can queue for any active arenas virtually via matchplay.events or at the registration table. Registration payment will be payable only in cash at the registration table. Qualifying runs from 1-5 PM. This is a womens division event, however, we warmly welcome all women and gender diverse players of all skill levels!
