Tournament Overview
Registration for this tournament opens on November 22, 2023
Tournament Date: November 26, 2023
Alright, the format will be best game using the matchplay best game modified decay format. You get two plays on each machine, both plays on each machine count and are entered into matchplay. Top four qualify for the finals. Finals format will be one four player game with last place dropping out and finishing four. Then one three player game with last place dropping out and finishing third. Then one final head to head game to determine who the champion may be. There will be trophies for the top three.
Tourney starts at noon. You can arrive as early 11:15am for practice. All times CST.
We are limiting this tourney to 20 people and you must pre-register with your full name, home address, cell phone number and IFPA number (if you do not have an IFPA number that is okay, we will let you register and get you one the day of the tourney). The registration fee for the tourney is $10. This tourney is at a law firm and we do run criminal background checks on people we do not know and anyone convicted of a felony or charged with a crime involving a minor may not attend this tourney. You can register through Louisiana IFPA rep Mike VanEtten mlvanetten@yahoo.com or with the tourney host directly by PM'ing TigerLaw on Pinside.
Note: if there are 17 or more people who show up, we may decide to increase the finals to 8 rather than 4 (we will announce that right before the tourney starts if we have 17 or more...but given the holiday we doubt we have 17 or more so the finals will likely be 4).
Note No. 2: we reserve the right to move the tourney from 1807 Lake Street in Lake Charles to 6110 E. Myrtle Bay in Lake Charles (which is right down the road) should something come up necessitating the move (we will alert everyone in advance).
