The 2023 DFW Pinball League - Fall League FINALS and Tournament (2 events) will be held at Scott's house in Richardson, Texas. This collection is an Amazing mix of 1980s and newer pinball machines!
PLEASE NOTE: RSVP REQUIRED FOR THE PUBLIC TOURNAMENT -- Event is limited to TWENTY (20) PARTICIPANTS per the site owner.
While most of our events don't need an RSVP, the tournament (which takes place AFTER the league finals) does require an RSVP.
RSVP must be done on the matchplay event page for this tournament.

The league finals is FREE -- participants already paid their IFPA fees at the qualifiers.
The cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child to play in the tournament (after the league finals).
We TRULY want this to be about community! All skill levels welcome!! It's about having fun, eating, socializing, and playing pinball!! We had players as young as 3 years old & as old as 81 in our leagues. All we ask is that you respect each other, the host's home, and the machines! So, come Join us!
Event Date is SATURDAY DECEMBER 2, 2023.
Doors open for league finals warmup: 11:30 AM.
League Registration starts: 11:30 AM.
League Meeting/Play Starts: NOON
Doors open for the tournament at 2:00 PM.
Tournament Meeting/Play Starts: IMMEDIATELY AFTER League Play (Approximately 2:30 PM)
HARD END TIME PLANNED FOR 8:00 PM.
There will NOT be a KIDZ FINAL / Kids tournament at this event.
With the hard end time, unfortunately, the kids' tournament wasn't feasible.
There will be TWO tournaments in ONE day -
(A) The League Finals Tournament -- based on league standing -- The best 16 league players that show up will get to play.
(B) The Public IFPA Tournament -- Limited to 20 players so RSVP is required.
LEAGUE FINALS DETAILS:

TWO strikes tournament using the 'strict' strikes method - so two strikes will be assigned in both 3 and 4 player groups.
Ties in the playoffs will be broken based on ORIGINAL SEED going into the playoffs.
SEEDING MATTERS -- If any of the finals eligible players fails to attend, then THE NEXT HIGHEST RANKED PLAYER(S) THAT ARE PRESENT will play.

THE PUBLIC IFPA TOURAMENT:

This tournament starts immediately AFTER league play end!
We estimate that this will be around 2:30 PM.
This is an EIGHT ( 8 ) STRIKE "FAIR STRIKES TOURNAMENT" --
All players will play together, no divisions -- So we'll have MORE DOOR PRIZES/Random Drawings since there won't be separate divisions.
In every game, the first place player will get NO STRIKES.
In every game, the last place player will get TWO (2) STRIKES.
All other players (if any) on each game will get ONE (1) STRIKE.
... ALSO random door prizes for ANYONE in the tournament regardless of standings/rankings!
PARKING:
Park on my side of the street ONLY PLEASE.
There are also cross streets before and after my block. You can park there too.
FOOD:
Going to try to do the hot dog roller but please bring stuff for POT LUCK/something to share.
