Tournament Overview

This is a 6 week pinball league with players being placed in 3 and 4 player groups (majority 4 player groups) weekly. Players will play 6 games a week and games will be scored 4,3,2,1 (DC League Scoring) with bonus points awarded for the top game played weekly (for qualification purposes only) Players will be swissed weekly and play in different 3 or 4 player groups each week. 2 drops for vacation / illness are allowed. 4 weeks are mandatory for participating in league finals which will occur on the 30th of December.
This league is a buzzer beater to shake up the state qualifying standings so anyone on the outside looking or who wants the chance to drastically change their seed, should participate and dominate.
League will begin on THURSDAY, November 16th at 7 pm and then held every MONDAY night at 7 pm (excluding Christmas day) with league finals on SATURDAY the 30th of December at NOON.
Top 8 or 12 (depending on league size) will make A finals with the remainder in B finals or C finals depending on size of the league. Finals will be best of 7, single elimination tournament, similar to SCS series), with double elimination for final seeding only after elimination for prize money and placement. Top 4 players (if 12 player finals are justified with league size) will receive a bye.
League dues are $60 and 100% of the proceeds are paid out in prize money with the IFPA sanctioning fee paid by the L.A.B. Gameplay will be halfpriced during league nights and finals. This is a 21 and older establishment so all league participants need to be of legal drinking age in the state of Utah.
