Matchplay.events will be used to run the tournament.
Qualifying will be played as follows:
- 8 rounds
- Players will be put into 3 or 4 player groups as necessary
- 4 player groups will be scored as 7/5/3/1
- 3 player groups will be scored as 7/4/1
- Games will be picked randomly
- If players are tied at the end of qualifying, tiebreakers will be determined as follows:
- Non-Critical positions:
- Number of first place finishes
- Number of second place finishes
- Number of third place finishes
- A single tiebreaker game, chosen at random, if all other attributes are tied
- Critical positions:
- A single tiebreaker game, chosen at random
- Top half of the field will move to the A Division finals
- The top 4 players who missed A division finals and are outside the top 2000 IFPA ranking will play a B division finals
Finals will be played as follows:
- 3 games will be played
- 4 player groups will be scored as 4/2/1/0
- Top seed will have choice of game or position
- Winner of the first game will have choice of game or position for the second game. The same is true for the third game.
- Top 2 players from each group will move on to the next round
- In the event of a tie, a tiebreaker game will be selected at random
- If a game is already in progress on a game, a different game must be picked
Prize pool will be split as follows:
- $5 entry, 100% goes into the prize pool
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will get a portion of the prize pool.
- If the B division Finals are played, 1st place in that finals will get a portion of the prize pool
