This is the Madison Championship. It mimics the style and format for the WI SCS with a few small modifications. 16 people will participate in a heads up best of 5 format; except for finals which will be best of 7. All positions will play out with those losing in previous rounds playing to determine final rank; best of 3 for losers. People qualify by playing in any event held in Madison during the calendar year of 2023. Invites will be offered to seed the top 16; invites sent out by January 1st 2024, based on IFPA Madison rank on that date for 2023 events. Confirmation of attendance required by January 6th, 2024. Event held on Saturday January 13th, 2024, starting at 9:30am. One modification from NACS is this event will have a “no waiting” rule. Preference of game will only be honored for games currently unoccupied or with no que besides and actively played game.
