Tournament Date: October 21, 2023
Hey Everyone!
The October edition of the Oahu Pinball Tournament will be at Pinball Wally's on Saturday October 21st at 6pm!
Wally lives at 250 Kilani Ave in Wahiawa. The house is on the corner of Kilani and Mala St. You may need to drive a couple houses past wally's on kilani to park on the right side of the road, but there's plenty of parking there. Byob, and maybe if everyone brings a snack, we'll have plenty of snacks! Or just bring yourself, it will be great to see you!
The games at Wally's are: NASCAR, Harley Davidson, Stern Playboy, Sharkey's Shootout, and FISH TALES!!!! We'll play a couple warm up games, and then have a tournament!
This tournament will be an official IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Association) tournament! A nice thing about doing it this way is that the IFPA website will keep track of how everyone does for the year and we can have a Hawaii Championship at the end of the year!
The tournament will start at 7pm sharp, and will be a group matchplay tournament. We will use the Matchplay app to run the tournament smoothly.
In the opening portion of the tournament, players will play 5 games in groups of 3 or 4, and points will be awarded based on order of finish (7-5-3-1, or 7-4-1).
At the end of those games, the top 4 players will play in a finals round to determine this month's pinball champion, who will be remembered forever as a pinball hero!
