Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: September 03, 2023
Join us on September 3rd (Sunday) for some, day before, Labor Day group matchplay at Magoo’s. Doors open at 11am and play starting at 11:30am.
We’ll be doing 5 rounds with 2 games per round (PAPA scoring 4/2/1/0), balanced pairing and balanced player orders. Fees are $1 to IFPA and, optional only, $5 to prize pool. We’ll take the top 8 to finals with the Top 3 collecting payouts of 50%, 35%, and 15% of the pool. Finals will consist of 3 games per round. Top seeds drive the bus and position with next highest seed picking position, etc. Bottom two scores are eliminated.
The top 9 to 16 who do not make finals can play in a 3-strike, fair strikeout (Four-player groups: 0/1/1/2 strikes; Three-player groups: 0/1/2 strikes.) The top winner in B will get a trophy.
In addition, come out and enjoy some surprises and cake as we celebrate several Hangar birthdays for September…One being Captain Mike Denton who is turning….any guesses?
