Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: August 25, 2023
This year at Pinfest the Ladies Night will be a Max Matchplay event - this is a great opportunity for you to meet other women who enjoy playing pinball or give pinball a try in a friendly, ladies only space. This will be held on the Friday (25th August) in the small room behind the bar. Entry is free and there's no need to pre-register - just turn up!
Qualifying will start at 7.30pm - please arrive a little early for registration, briefing, nibbles and drinks.
Max Matchplay format will allow you to play lots of 2 player games with others. You will play up to 14 games or for up to 1.5 hours. Everyone will play the same number of games. We will have a choice of 10 pins, with 8 games at one time. This means you will have plenty of time for chatting and meeting others while you wait for your game.
The finals will then be held at approx 10.30pm (after the Stall Ball event) for the top 8 players. We will hold a 1 game quarter final for qualifying players 5,6, 7 and 8, with the top 2 going through to a 1 game semi-final alongside qualifying players 3 and 4, with the top 2 players going through to the finals. The 3 game finals will then include qualifying players 1 and 2, scored at 4-2-1-0.
Last year was really popular and we are expecting lots of ladies to join us - we hope you will enjoy this format!
